Have you seen Julie and Julia? It's inspired me. A few people have asked me to keep them posted about the experience of going to and working for Disney World. What if I kept a blog of it? I should get myself a copy of Julie and Julia to keep me inspired.
So to date....
I sent in my application at the beginning of this semester back in September. Gosh, that seems so long ago. I went to a meeting, finished the online application, and was lucky enough to get a phone interview. A few weeks ago I got my acceptance letter. I'll be working with "Attractions". I won't find out specifics until I get to Florida.
I have more than a month until I leave, but I'm so excited... and inspired... that I decided to start this lovely blog a little earlier than I'd planned.
I have found out since being accepted that I will be arriving on the 9th of January to be in time for check in on the 10th. Then I'll find out where I'm living, and all the other little details.
I'm sorry there aren't many other details. More will come as I know them. And eventually... PICTURES! It's going to be fun.
